Extractions

Pain, severe infections, excessive decay or breakdown of tooth structure may mean that a tooth needs to be extracted. It may also be necessary to extract teeth to create more room in certain cases. Extractions are the last treatment option as it is final and cannot be reversed.

Wisdom teeth may require extraction if causing constant infections, impacting or damaging adjacent teeth, or are heavily broken down. Some minor surgery may be required to remove these teeth.
